Defence Minister of Pakistan spoke on the floor of the National Assembly on 8 April 2014, in a tone and with false accusations heaped on Army as if he was from an enemy country. He seemed to having gone rabid, on his own? Or perhaps on direction from his boss. He deliberately lied in his sickening accusations, such as Pak Army not able to capture Azad Kashmir in 1948, which was done by Wazirs. Did he not know that British C in C was sitting over both the armies in Delhi? Pakistan Army was spread over Burma and hardly a few Brigades were concentrated in Lahore area. And the bulk of fighting was done by locals known as Indian National Army? He said, Musharraf crossed international border to capture Kargil. Does he not know what is the LOC? And how treacherously India had much earlier crossed LOC in 1984 to capture Siachin? He counted Indian Pakistan encounters and asked why had Pak Army Not won? Is he demented? A five times smaller Army every time halted the Indian Army and brought about stalemate. This is what a much smaller Army can do, and Pak Army did it, every time. Is he blind to the series of events since 1952 which eventually resulted in fall of Dacca? He blamed Yahya Khan for it while it was basically Bhutto who refused to go to Dacca and even said, You there we here. This man, masquerading as Defence Minister has no right to hold any public office in Pakistan, much less be made defence minister. He is Pakistans enemy. If the Army is not there today in Pakistan, he will be hiding his skin like a mouse, which will be scraped off slowly by militants of all shade and hue, including the TTP. Either he is absolutely ignorant, or a liar betraying his hatred for Army by distorting the facts, or both. And the PM is sitting smug, again betraying that it is he who has let loose dogs like Khawaja and Saad Rafique to bark at the stars. Those MNAs present in assembly kept knocking at the desks to show their approval while the enemy Defence Minister was spitting poison against Pakistani armed forces. Shame on this national assembly. They ought to be kicked out and barred for life for representing the people of Pakistan. This is the height of gross misconduct, deliberate anti-Army and anti-Pakistan behaviour. They talk of Constitution with every breath. Where are the sanctimonious judges? Are they blind and cannot see that this kind of talk falls under Treason in Constitution? This Khawaja and the equally sick railway minister both ought to be tried for treason and hanged. The members of NA who were clapping ought to be dismissed. The Speaker, who stonily sat and let this happen also ought to be kicked out of that house, which is no more august!
