Delia asks; My son is 5 and was diagnosis with Autism.Hes extremely hyper and this year (k-1) has been showing alot of aggression towards staff in school.He has been in the school system for 2 years prior to that and had very minor issues with aggression. He pinches,throw things,bit and kicks when made to sit and finish tasks in class.Last year the teacher told us that he did pinch but as the year went on she saw less of that.Went to IEP meeting last year and behavior was barley spoke about only that he has to be redirected constantly to sit and finish tasks. I do see the aggressive side of him at home but not how they describe (17 episodes in 2 hours).Just wanted if any over parents have experienced issues like this and have advance. Im at my wit ends and would love to here any advance I can get!!He was suspend today for this issue as well.
