Delirium Tremens Tasted by bottle to glass April 28th, 2012 Nation: Belgium Alc: 8.5% Price: about 5.50$ for 11.2 once. What I think Straight from Belgium! This is about as authentic as it gets. Maybe. It’s slightly warm, creates a thick head, and extremely smooth. You could drink it as easily as water. It’s spicy, not as much as I thought it would be, but also has a light, noticeable sweetness, perhaps fruity, after taste is very pleasant. After taste is like after seeing a great movie that you’re not sad is over. Not bitter. Not one bit. The first bottle was pretty good although this beer claims it will keep and get better like a fine wine due to yeast left over in bottle, I will put this to a the test and save the other bottle to try in about a year. This is highly recommended, on special occasions. Excellent quality if you can afford it once in a while, or all the time if you’re a rich bastard in which case share the love please. I don’t know if it’s worth the price or not, but it is nice to have a good traditional brew. There’s really nothing to complain about this beer. Overall rating: 5 out of 5 Revisited- aged until September 18, 2013, since April 2012 Welp, it turns out I don’t have a great memory for taste over the course of the year, but it sure as hell hasn’t gotten any worse, and better if anything. Before I even took a sip the aroma spiced my appetite and I can’t help but think it smells pleasantly fruity. It’s spicy and you can taste the potency in the most pleasant way, sounds strange perhaps, but it has a bite that will tingle your senses. Elegant and such. It’s at least as good as I originally stated with all strange analogies intact. Still 5 out of 5 sacrifice a six pack and buy one of these instead.
