Democracies allow freedom of religion. This is one of fundamental human rights. Of course, Japan’s Prime Minister have this right. No matter what religion he might believe, any democracies and any people must respect his belief. Why can other nations, even democracies, interfere with his religious actions. This is a shared value among modern democracies. Why can some democracies criticize Japan’s Prime Minister’s visit to a religious institution?
