Democratic Alliance press statement by Stevens Mokgalapa MP DA Shadow Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Flight MH17: Condolences to the family of Cameron Dalziel The DA extends our deepest condolences to the family of Cameron Dalziel, a South African helicopter pilot who was one of the victims of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 crash yesterday. We also extend our condolences to the friends, family and loved ones of all others who died in this horrific tragedy. This comes after a Malaysian Airline carrying 295 people was allegedly shot down and crashed in east Ukraine yesterday. The DA welcomes the Department of International Relations and Cooperation’s intention to support the investigation underway in Malaysia into the events leading up to this crash. We trust that the relevant authorities will do everything possible to ensure that the cause of this tragedy is unearthed and made public.
