Democratic Republican Utopians and their equally Utopian AnComm buddies finally getting mad at their public masters and so called representatives. Maybe theres hope for these dingbats yet. #Agorist PS Instead of using the word Utopian, Id simply use irrational. But that wouldnt be as accurate, in my opinion, because as Mises described rationality, they (Democratic Republicans or An Comms) arent acting irrational. Rationality, in the praxeological sense, is simply having an end and purposefully pursuing it. A witch doctor rain dancing for rain, under this understanding, is considered rational even though theres no evidence that this sort of action will work to accomplish what he desires. I can (anyone could) deem witch doctors or voters irrational because we know there (probably) isnt any tie to reality of satisfying the end with the action they choose (rain dancing or voting respectively), but it would still be a subjective determination of rational -- so, for this reason I dont use that word. Thats why I use Utopian. The folks who think using the government to solve some problem are pretty much delusional (they tell themselves something is true that isnt. The lies they believe or tell themselves effectively helps them evade reality) -- yet still rational. But thats not to say that some ends arent attained through politics. Certainly, there are -- usually the ones that are founded on force and theft. In any case, were all a little delusional over something, so dont feel too bad if you vote thinking its a good idea. We all lie to ourselves in someway or another.
