The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a dense fog advisory...which is in effect until 10 am CST Wednesday. * Location...parts of North Texas from the dfw metroplex north to the Red River and west to Graham and Bowie. The Highway 287 corridor in these areas will be most likely to have dense fog through early morning. * Visibility...visibilities will be reduced to less than 1/4 mile through much of the overnight. * Impacts...reduced visibility will make driving hazardous at night especially in rural areas. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A dense fog advisory means visibilities will be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...use your low-beam headlights...and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you.
