Denver, CO - Ginger has been in foster care the longest in our program, and we cant understand why! Dont let the frosting on her muzzle deter you - she has *plenty* of energy to keep up with an active family, but also loves to cuddle and give kisses! She is sweet, and funny, and a wonderful companion. Please share to find this gal a forever home! Meet Ginger, who was saved from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico. She is a 7-8 year old clear red girl, with natural ears and a docked tail. She weighs about 11 lbs. She is a wonderful little dog! You will be hard-pressed to find a happier or more loving companion. Housetrained using a doggie door, is crate trained, and great with other dogs. Kitties, however, are not her favorite. She needs a dog-savvy cat that knows how to defend itself, or a cat-free home. She loves people and likes to follow her foster family around wherever they go. She actually has tons of energy for a dog her age, so might surprise you! And, when its time to cuddle up on the couch, she is up for the task and will give you kisses to show her appreciation. Ginger cant wait for a forever family of her very own - will it be yours?
