Deoriatal Chandrashilla trek- Hey friends, i am planning a trip to deoriatal and Chandrashilla from December 23 to December 28. This is a re-post since my last post was deleted by Admin (dont know the reason). I want to celebrate the Christmas in the mountains.... The trip is mainly going to be a hiking trip. Most part will be easy trek with some patches of moderate difficulty. We will need to book guides and porters. Trek Itinerary- 23rd December- Leave for Rishikesh at night 24th December- Hire a cab from Rishikesh to Sari village in Uttarakhand and trek up to Deoria Tal (2-3 Km, 1.5 hour). Camp at Deoria Tal 25th December- trek ahead to Rohini Bugyal. Camp overnight. 26th December- trek ahead to Chopta- base for Chandrashila. stay overnight. 27th December- trek up and down to Chandrashila peak. Hire cab back from Chopta to Rishikesh. 28th December- Return journey from Rishikesh to Delhi.
