I wish we could break through the decades of deceit and that people could see the connection between the tyranny we live in, to the War Between the States. I wish that people could see that the Confederates fought, first and foremost, for the right of self determination and STATES rights. I carry the Confederate Battle Flag, not only to honor my ancestors, but as a symbol to oppose tyranny. St. Andrews Cross (the Battle flag) has been used throughout history as opposition to tyranny. The entire country lost in that war. We lost our states sovereignty, which is why we have a huge federal gov which is hell bent on controlling each and every soul in this country.
