DepEd Division of Agusan del Sur SCHOOLS DIVISION SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE For Secondary Schools I he famous saying which states, , ” Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask yourselves what you can do for your country,” is a reminder I want our graduates to keep in their hearts. My salute to the parents of the Graduating Class of 2013-2014, the stakeholders of the different secondary schools in Agusan del Sur, the school administrators, the faculty and staff, and most of all, to the Stars of this occasion, the members of the Graduating Class. Congratulations for having reached this far. The road you took wasn’t easy. I know it was rough and tough. But with your strong determination and perseverance to succeed, you all made it through. That is the spirit of a true Filipino. The theme for this year’s graduation is “Hindi Natitinag ang Pusong Pilipino.” My dear graduates, you proved it right because your graduation today is a manifestation of the braveness of your heart and the fruit of labor for all those who helped make you successful. Despite all the challenges you went through, here you are, ready to receive your diploma. Our country has endured a lot of challenges. Our country needs a lot of rebuilding after she has suffered from several natural calamities and several challenges on political and social concerns. We need to be strong and we need you, to make the country more stable and a stronger republic. We cannot build a strong country if the people are weak. We cannot build our dear Philippines if the human resource capitals are not ready to make her strong. As future leaders of the country, make yourselves strong, have a braver and a more compassionate heart so you will be instruments in rebuilding our dear Philippines. My dear graduates, make us proud of you by doing what is expected of you, by actualizing the knowledge, skills and values that your teachers have equipped you. Be the source of inspiration for others. Be the light for everyone. Serve the country in whatever way you can do. Show to the world that whatever challenges may come your way, you can surpass and survive them all. It will just take your courage and you will overcome all of those. Prove to the world that a Filipino can do it all, despite all odds. Be yourself and be the best. May I also express my sincere gratitude and recognition to our stakeholders, the LGU officials, the PTA officers, the Civil Society Organization and everybody who take part in your growth. They are always with us as we carry on our vision, mission and goals. They made the sail of our journey this year smooth, swift and fast. Congratulations and God speed
