#Deployment #USMC #Reserve #SemperFi We take care of our Own Thats the MCCC mission and motto. When a Marine is deployed, he or she leaves their family behind. While they are gone, someone gets sick, the car breaks down and other unexpected financial hardships happen. Who helps and protects them while their Marine is protecting us? The MCCC does. The Marine Corps Coordinating Council is dedicated to helping Marines and their families when these crisis occur. We rasie funds through our annual Leatherneck golf tournament, we sell advertisments in Marine Corp Ball programs and we have support from compassionate individual donors. The MCCC is 100% volunteer with no paid staff, overhead is kept to a minimum as space is donated by the VOC for meetings. Even in peacetime deployments remain high and those serving are doing more with less after Military cuts. The following is an excellent run down on deployment actvity in 2014.
