Depression is feeling like you are trapped in a world where all the color and joy has been taken away. Its not seeing your life as worth it, its not hearing love thats been expressed and understanding that it is genuine. Depression, is not seeing the forest or the trees its only seeing your life as everyones problem. I say this not as an observer but as one who has battled with it. I encourage everyone reading this if you know someone who struggles with it I implore you to reach out to them. Dont allow them to live with the lights out, dont allow them to think the world is better off without them, I was blessed with friends and family who surround me in my darkest moments, I cant express to you how much your love and support matters. It can save a life. Rest in peace Robin Williams, my your soul finally find rest, comfort and light.
