Derby is a dog who was born with malformed front legs. He has been able to get around on a wheeled contraption, but the bulkiness hindered his ability to move where he pleased. His adoptive owner wanted to find a way for Derby to gain mobility and still be able to run and play with other dogs. She teamed up with scientists and engineers and through the magic of 3D printing, Derby got a brand new pair of prosthetics that allowed him to run and play just like a normal dog.
