Derek Archambault (Defeater, Alcoa) is in the midst of a crowd - TopicsExpress

Derek Archambault (Defeater, Alcoa) is in the midst of a crowd funding effort to raise money for a much needed hip replacement surgery. While almost 75% of the money needed to fund the surgery has been raised, the goal is still far from reached. Along with knowing you are helping someone get back on his feet, both literally and figuratively, and get back to what they love, by donating you also get something in return. Archambault has recorded four cover songs and a new version of a fan favorite on his Thank You EP. People have been donating blindly without hearing much from the recording until now; here is a live video cover of Elder Brothers Whos Gonna Carry You Home? from their debut on Pure Noise. Additionally, the EP features a new version of Defeaters I Dont Mind, and covers of Shambles by Make Do And Mend, Blacklisteds Stations and Young Kerouacs by I Am The Avalanche. Please check out the campaign here: pledgemusic/projects/derekarchambault Yes, Derek is asking for your help and would not do so unless all other options had been tried and fought for. Hardcore and punk taught us early on that we pick each other up when we are down. We help each other because the music, friends, bands, shows, and community mean everything to us. Thank you for your support.
