This high will slowly move to the southwest of Tasmania today, to the southeast early Monday then away to the southeast later on Monday as the ridge moves to the east of the state. A trough will cross the Bight during Monday and a cold front will pass to its south. The ridge will weaken over the Tasman Sea during Tuesday, with the trough to move over Tasmania later in the day as the front passes near the south of the state.
