Description: Intake/Outreach Coordinator America Works, an innovative, socially conscious private employment company, is seeking Intake/Outreach Coordinator for its San Francisco, CA Office. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the Director, the Intake/Outreach Specialist will perform a wide variety of activities including onboarding of the referred clients with intake interview, interview readiness training, resume writing support, telemarketing, administrative, and data input. In addition, the intake coordinator will provide follow-up services for our customers once they are placed to ensure that they will succeed on the job and become independent. Requirements: KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: • Strong business ethics and honesty. • General principles, practices and procedures of career and vocational education training programs. • Training and employment opportunities in the community. • Basic interviewing and advisement techniques including methods for evaluating occupational skills. • Labor market trends. • Principles and techniques of vocational guidance and casework. • Diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of students. • Operation of a computer and assigned software. Oral and written communication skills. • Modern office practices, procedures and equipment. • Record-keeping and report preparation • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
