Desmond Tutu and Dalai Lama are good friends, I can only mind-play - TopicsExpress

Desmond Tutu and Dalai Lama are good friends, I can only mind-play and imagine their conversations in Cape-Town gardens (only if and when hes granted a visa, of course). With a bible, buddha scrolls, apple-juice on an oak wooden-table, birds vocal-ling on the background, laughters and chats. Till that random moment, the great Desmond Tutu poses his sharp enquiries. They will be gazing at flaunting and bragging trees. Green trees. Desmond Tutu: Who created nature? Dalai Lama: Nature is not a creation but a continual display of life and death, what Buddha called samsara. It is an illusion, a maya. It isnt created because it exists not, to begin with. Desmond Tutu: Then who enabled that interplay to exists? Dalai Lama: Consciousness. Desmond Tutu: Who created consciousness? Dalai Lama: Nobody. It is nothingness. Desmond Tutu: So, nature works, without a back-ground force and a manipulator? Dalai Lama: Thats correct. Desmond Tutu: That cant be. Everything has a creation and nothing can exists without a creator. God created that consciousness. Dalai Lama: If I ride on that hypothesis of yours. I may ask a vital question to you: since well nothing can exists without being created by any sort of a creator, then how did your God managed to exists without having to be created? Desmond Tutu: Hmmmm. . . Dalai Lama: Exactly.
