Despite some short term mud and disarray, Paul and Erica Erkkila appear to be pretty excited about the work going on, as we install a 22kW ground mounted system in their Palymyra, NY, yard right now. Posting these and other photos of the work in progress, and enthusiastic comments, they are keeping their Facebook friends updated on the gratifying project. Most of the year, solar installs don’t involve mud and slush, and while the early winter weather might not provide the optimum conditions for a project like this, the Erkkilas will be rewarded by ringing in the new year, harvesting their own energy from the sun. We can’t wait to see the pictures they post of the finished project, especially next Spring, when the sun shines bright and the grass is green again.
