Despite the addition of a new X-Men movie and the new Adam - TopicsExpress

Despite the addition of a new X-Men movie and the new Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore comedy, the indie film gods are raining down riches on the Central Florida area this week. Opening at all of the AMC theaters, the Cobb Plaza Cinema Cafe, the Cinemark Festival Bay and the Regal Winter Park Village is The Love Punch, a caper comedy with Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson. Foodies rejoice - Jon Favreaus latest Chef is opening at the AMC Altamonte Mall, the AMC Downtown Disney, the Cinemark Festival Bay, the Regal Waterford Lakes and the Regal Winter Park Village. The period true story Belle about the woman who helped inspire the end of slavery in the UK is opening at the AMC Downtown Disney, the Regal Winter Park Village and the Amstar Lake Mary. Marion Cotillards new film The Immigrant - one I really want to see - is opening at the Regal Winter Park Village and the AMC Downtown Disney. The Robin Williams comedy The Angriest Man in Brooklyn is opening at the AMC Loews Universal Citywalk while the Bollywood film Manam will debut at the Touchstar Southchase. The Tampa Theater is getting Locke which just finished up at the Winter Park Village while the Cinematique in Daytona is going documentary-mad with Tanzania: A Journey Within (see Angie Rumpfs post) as well as the excellent Finding Vivian Maier with a special showing on Sunday. So there is an embarrassment of riches besides the usual summer blockbusters - get out there and see some of them!
