Despite the constant occurrences of spirit breaking realizations about the unethical and insane manner in which this world has and continues to operate in.... it does give me hope to see the changing of morals as the generations progress. I am proud to be part of a generation in which racism is declining, global consciousness is growing, animals of all cultures, backgrounds and dispositions are banding together, pushing back against fragmentation, and putting forward love. As Charlie Chaplin wrote in the ending speech of his film The Great Dictator - To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people.
