Despite the rain, wind and very chilly day a lot was accomplished thanks to farrier Cheryl and our dedicated volunteers. Sophie got a lot of extra attention preparing her for blanketing in her new home (she has a new matching halter and blanket awaiting her)and final evaluation of her manners and response to horse eating scary umbrellas , cars, sacks, etc. Passed with flying colors! Of course..shes such a good girl! Thanks to new volunteer Bobbie who braved the weather for a rescue introduction.
