Despite the weather, we had a great turn out for the Carver Commemorative Dinner at Crowder College, last evening. Great program and speakers. The silent auction was a hit, with approximately $1700 raised for the George Washington Carver Scholarship program. Thank you everyone for all of your help, and your attendance. A special thanks goes to Jody Murray Burns and her family, and Denise Jessen for setting up the silent auction. Next year, we need more people involved, as it is a lot of work for 3-4 people.
