Destination Lancaster Hotel Partners Donate Thousands of Toiletries to Grace Resource Center Forwarded on behalf of Destination Lancaster Lancaster, CA. December 1, 2014 – Today, Destination Lancaster’s eight hotel partners joined to donate thousands of toiletry items to the Grace Resource Center on Sierra Highway in Lancaster. Americas Best Value Inn and Suites, Comfort Inn and Suites, Hampton Inn and Suites - Lancaster, Holiday Inn Express, Homewood Suites, Oxford Inn and Suites, Springhill Suites, and TownePlace Suites by Marriott all collaborated to generously provide more than five-thousand soaps, shampoos and other assorted hygienic supplies to the Center. Even though we are competitors, we are always on the same team when it comes to helping our community, said Vince Magallanes, General Manager of the Oxford Inn & Suites and Destination Lancaster Board of Director. Grace Resource Center provides services to more than 10,000 homeless individuals each month, meaning that these donated supplies will benefit thousands of men, women and children. Destination Lancaster’s contribution will provide them the basic toiletries they need to enjoy a healthy holiday season. “Toiletries are an often over-looked necessity which this portion of our community desperately needs,” said Lancaster Council Member and Destination Lancaster President, Ken Mann. “The winter months are widely known as the season of giving -- but this incredibly generous gesture by the Destination Lancaster hotel partners takes giving to the next level.” About Destination Lancaster Destination Lancaster is a regional tourism bureau which seeks to develop the Antelope Valley as an attractive tourist destination.
