Born in 1958 at Kolkata, Mr. Nayan Mukherjee learned Rabindra Sangeet under prominent Guru, Late Sagar Sen for more than 7 years. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Mukherjee is currently working as chief financial officer with Reckitt Benckiser, Dhaka. A talented artist, Mr. Mukherjee has performed at important concerts in Delhi, Colombo and Jakarta. In November 2009, as part of the “Jakarta Bengali Association”, he performed for the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in Jakarta in a grand concert of Rabindra Sangeet called--“Nataraj Riturangashala” along with renowned Indian tabla maestro, Tanmoy Bose. Mr. Mukherjee was a member of the Viswa Bharati Music Board in the year 2000. He has released two cassettes from India and one CD from Bangladesh on Rabindra Sangeet. He regularly performs for different TV channels of Bangladesh. A leading recitation artiste and elocutionist of Bangladesh, Ms. Dahlia Ahmed was born in 1961 at Mymensingh to an esteemed Muktijoddha family. A brilliant student, she grew up in the strict disciplinary ambience of Bharateswari Homes - a renowned residential school for girls in Bangladesh reputed for excellence in academic and cultural activities. She later graduated in English from Dhaka University. Ms. Ahmed has an ardent passion for languages, particularly phonetics and pronunciation. She has participated in several national programmes held on the occasions of International Mother Language Day, Independence Day and Victory Day. She has also given background voice to many stage shows, dance dramas, documentaries and live commentaries. Ms. Ahmed has also recited poetry and dance dramas all over Bangladesh and abroad in cities such as New York, London and Paris. Ms. Ahmed was conferred with the Bangladesh Mahila Parishad Award for recitation in 2010. *****
