Details of the Picnic: Saturday, June 28th at Darien Lake STATE PARK (not theme park) Here is the Park web address: reserveamerica/camping/darien-lakes-state-park/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=NY&parkId=386 Picnic will begin at 10:30am and continue until 8pm. People who want to come early to help set up can meet at 9am. Come for an hour or spend the day. You can come and go anytime you want. Hopefully you can at least show up. Feel free to bring anyone you want. What to Bring? Stars will provide the Hot Dogs; Rolls; Condiments and Paper Products. Families are asked to bring a SHARE ALL DISH (please coordinate this through your team picnic rep so we have multiple food items). Please try to stay away from items that can spoil easy. If it is a hot day we may have limited ability to keep items cool. Families are to bring their own beverage and a cooler with ice to keep them cold. We need some extra coolers with ice if anyone can bring some so we can keep salads, etc.. cold. Please ask your families to label the food that may contain items that can cause allergic reactions. Please contact your team rep to let him or her know how many from your family are attending and what share all dish to bring. We need each team rep to coordinate this. It is not required for you to RSVP in advance but we ask that you do if you can. However, if you make a decision at the last minute to attend, that is ok too. Just bring a share all dish and a cooler of ice. We do need a count by June 18th so that we can know how much food to order. Committee Heads: The following people have offered to head up various tasks. If you can help them please contact them. They will make up a schedule. Grilling: John Szpara (U18): John will need cooks in shifts of one hour beginning at 11am and continuing until 7pm. John can be reached at: mudratjoe@hotmail Food Serving: Dorthea Schraedor (U16) will head up the committee to keep the share all dishes rotating and fresh. She will need help in one hour shifts between 11am and 7pm. You can contact her at: wickedak1@yahoo Set Up: Tom Mullen (Minor Peewee) and Norm Robinson (Girls) will head this up. They will meet at the Park at 9am to set up. If you can assist them just show up around 9am. Clean Up: Lisa Szpara (U18): Lisa will need help with the final clean up at the end of the day. We will have to bag any garbage we have and then dispose of it outside of the park. We are hoping to make arrangements with Darien Lake Theme Park to put our trash there.
