Since the discovery of the injured pup, she has been cared for at My Pets Vet after the Nassau County SPCA brought her there in September. The pup, whose been named “Miss Harper,” is in need of surgeries and a permanent home. Anyone who can help with raising funds and finding this pup a loving home is asked to do so. The Nassau County SPCA will hold a press conference at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 30th at My Pets Vet in Huntington. The address is 448 West Jericho Turnpike. “We are asking the public and animal lovers to help us in our efforts to raise funds for the needed surgeries and care that this poor puppy faces,” said Detective Robert Sowers, a spokesperson for the Nassau County SPCA.
