Detectives are searching for a suspect after a fight that left a 42-year-old man dead The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 23-year-old Encarnacion “EJ” Salas. He is believed to have assaulted a man who later died. Deputies said they found a man bleeding on the 3000 block of 164th Street SW shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday. The suspect fled the scene and officials were searching the area of 164th Street Southwest and 35th Avenue West. Salas is described as 5-foot-11, 185-pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He likely has injuries to his face and legs — and was last seen wearing green pants and a red bandana.According to the sheriff’s office, the two men knew each other. Detectives believe a knife was used, but they have not yet recovered a weapon. If you spot him, call 911 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-tips.
