Detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad have arrested and charged a member of the Lone Wolf outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) with drug supply offences. Strike Force Lockwood, which is being led by detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad, has been investigating the activities of an alleged firearm and drug supply syndicate operating throughout Moree and the greater Newcastle area. Earlier this month, on Thursday 1 May 2014, seven people were arrested throughout the Hunter and Moree. The following week, on Monday 5 May 2014, detectives arrested two women in Moree, before arresting another two men on Tuesday 6 May 2014. Earlier today, Strike Force Lockwood detectives made their 12th arrest when they apprehended a 30-year-old Rhodes man at Burwood Police Station. The man, who is a member of the Lone Wolf OMCG, was subsequently charged with: - Four counts of supplying an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug; and, - One count of supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis. He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on 5 June 2014. The investigation by Strike Force Lockwood continues.
