Deut. 29. Time period ( Wilderness Wonderings).Moses encourages the obedience of the children of Israel. They had been following Moses sense they left Egypt. For God had not given them hearts of understanding, eyes for seeing or ears to hear as of yet. God was taking care of them totally. He was showing them that He is God. God reminds them of the covenant He made with their fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Now He is making it with them. He reminds them also of how He has taken care of them during this time in the wilderness. Their clothes and shoes did not wear out. Then they disobeyed God and out of His anger the curses came upon them that are written in this book. They were cast into another land. We need to learn a principle from this, that if we disobey God we will also be cast out of the kingdom (church) of God.
