Aug. 30, 2013 Quick Action Last month son Rick was playing baseball and he jumped up by the fence to get a foul ball and when he came down he heard and felt something pop in his lower leg. So he was out of commission the rest of the day with a limp. A couple of weeks later he was doing something pertaining to work and it happened again. Takes a few weeks for the hurt to go away. Yesterday he was cleaning some weeds out from in front of an electrical panel that had the switches for his irrigation pumps. He wanted to be sure he had a clear shot to the switches with out stepping on a snake. As he was doing this a few wasps surrendered his head, as he is jumping back from the wasps, he hears and feels his leg give out again, he jumps up on a concrete slab and his eyeball to eyeball with a huge rattle snake, eleven rattles. Luckily he has his shovel in his hand. Headless snake. He has a couple of wasp bites and walks with a limp. Rick has the limp does, not the snake.
