Students study towards the advanced A Level qualification instead of Grade 12. Over 75 % of ALA graduates are shipped to overseas universities, those remaining are helped to find a place in SA universities such as Wits, UCT, Rhodes and others. Students from the African continent make the majority of studying currently studying at ALA. ALAs year start in September and finishes September the following year.
