CRA has raised an alarm tat a number of counties were in a rush to clear funds in their coffers be4 te end of financial yr with heavy spending directed to foreign travel. For instance, a county spending ksh300m on MCAs sittng allowances against an annual budget of ksh 160m. Just imagin!, bearing in mind tat this our money. We hav bin cheated tat tis devolution is te main solution to wanjikus poverty and inequality on resource distribution. The truth is, kenya has devolved AMEGA corruption to counties! As we speak now, a county in western kenya is planng to send MCAs to netherlands, germany and S.africa while their residents are languishing in poverty, some not even affording ameal in aday. Why all tis greed among the so col leaders? We entrusted leaders with our resources to serve us but unfortunately hav turned out to b hynas. Kenyans shud nw demand 4 accountability in their respective counties
