Devotion: Luk 12:8-9 Acknowledge Christ Before Men 8 “And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, 9 but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. (ESV) One day a meeting was called in heaven and the devil came but the agenda of the meeting was the announcement of a mans name (job) There are two powers that control this world, the kingdom of light and the kindgom of darkness. They both operate in the realm of the spirit with powers to decide what happens to men in the Physical. Its pertinent to note That the choice of which kingdom will have influence over your life is your responsibility. Theres no mid point, you are either here or there (light or darkness) Whichever kingdom that has lordship over your life determines what happens to you in the world. Whatever you have not been made in your kingdom you can never become in the physical. Men are crowned kings in the spirit before they become it in the physical Contracts are awarded spiritually before the contract papers are signed. Many lobby so much that there names be mentioned in companies, societies, political parties and churches forgetting that you cant become in the natural what you have not become in the spirit. All it takes to be annouced in heaven is to acknowledge Christ before men (soul winning). Every time we do it angels are instructed in our favour. As you go about winning souls today, the next time theres a meeting in heaven may your name be the subject of discussion. Lets pray Almighty and everlasting father Grant us passion for souls and grace to go after the lost In Jesus name amen.
