Devotional October 24, 2013 READING FOR TODAY : Psalms 122-124 KEY VERSE Psalm 124:7-8 New International Version ( NIV ) We have escaped like a bird from the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Father beloved: With you I can fly beyond my circumstances. You are the One who delivered me from the snares that the enemy puts in my way. My beloved: I made you free. I did not create you to be tied to relationships that will destroy you. I have given you the way out so that nothing will yoke you. I gave you wings to fly, I have given you the eyes of faith so that you can see from My perspective. It is time to let go and get rid of everything that keeps you in chains. More than two thousand years ago I broke the yoke of slavery and I gave salvation to escape from the trap. Run my beloved, nothing will stop you because I gave you freedom. Fear not because your future I hold in My hands. I have much more for you. You are not alone, I removed the stone and I have risen you from the dead. Take off the bandages because there will no longer be any signs of carnage. What I have redeemed the enemy cannot take as their own. You are My property and nothing can hurt you. Believe that I am your Father who cares for you as the apple of My eye .
