Dharma talk today for international wake up Be beautiful, be yourself is a spiritual journey to discover who you are, what you are, where you are, how you are? That Journey is mindfulness, a journey to look for oneself, to see the original nature, to discovery of true love. What is mindfulness? Is a baby Buddha inside the garden of your mind, is the light within, the field of light, and it shines out -To be aware, moment to moment awareness -To be awake, wake up from the dream -To be alive in the present moment and to be in touch with wonders of life (present moment is real life and it has only light, peace and silence) -To be oneself, come back to yourself. How can you do that? How can you just be alive? How can you live mindfully? 1-Breathe, aware of the rising and falling of your abdomen (breathe in my abdomen rises, breathe out my abdomen falls), feel the cool air, feel bliss of breathing 2-Walk, focus at the contact between your feet and the Earth, feel the earth, the refreshing of mother earth 3-Listening to the wind, the song of the birds in the morning, the song of crickets and frogs in the night. 4-Seeing the sunlight, green grass, white clouds and blue sky… 5-Feel the warmth on your face when you are outside, connect to mother earth, sun and nature, 6- Smile to everything Come back to yourself, come back to life, come back to your home of your soul, stay in the here and now by the way of breathing, walking, listening, seeing, feeling and smiling With the power of being alive, you break through the illusion 1-Break through the ‘self image’ Created by yourself, your friends and your family. 2- The image of other that we create. Mindfulness is yourself, you are beautiful like that. Wakefulness is the utmost power of life force, it is the total vitality of life. Be yourself, breathe be open, feel life. 2- Break away an illusion of searching outside, searching for something that we don’t really know, happiness, love, attention,… go searching inside. Pure observation, pure recognition is the most nonviolent way of life. When you observe there is a liberation, a freedom to enjoy life that is different from following along the chaotic nature of thinking, conditioned mind. From observation to understanding and transforming Recognize the suffering, call it’s name, call it by the true names(suffering is like a wounded child, you are a mother) Embrace it by breathing and smiling, if it is still strong then walk with it Calm down the feelings, cool down the fire of emotion Recognize the habit of blaming, complaining, reacting and judging Lets it’s flow See the causes, and consequence of your action Cut that roots and transform it, like compost turns into flowers and vegetables Understand the root of suffering Letting go Uproot the deeper sources of suffering The haunting by loneliness, fear, worries confusion, (stay connecting) The haunting by sensual passion, addiction, attachment, craving, lust and desire, ( protect yourself from environment, of negative seeds , (true love) The haunting by don’t know, uncertainty, like mumbness, no feelings, depressing (stay in presence) The haunting by passion for becoming, ( no ambition, no expectation) The haunting by ignorance, ( understanding is our beauty ) With understanding, chance your mind, chance the way of thinking, of relating, of perception you chance your brain and your life will be beautiful and true Let go, be free and be light Wake up to joy and happiness Wake up to compassion, bring joy to one person, live for other Wake up to loving kindness to release the suffering and pain of one person, care for others, the destitute, the poor, the sick.
