Diane Bradley and Jean Troemel were judges at the Congressional Art Show this past week. Yong Zheng, a student at Seabreeze High School, took first place with her ink wash painting titled “Into the Light.” Her piece will hang in the US Capitol for the coming year along with student artwork from across the nation. Rachael Maccio, also from Seabreeze High School, took second place with her painting “Bella Iguana Verde.” Ms. Maccio’s artwork will be displayed in DeSantis’ Port Orange District Office for one year.
