*Diary of An Adorable Mum* Dear Diary, I just found this piece in my archive. Its about an incident that happened a little while back between my kids & I. Its the tale of Mums-secret-lie-detector.... Enjoy! Words May Lie But Actions Will Always Tell The Truth! My adorable ones always wonder why mum always knows when they lie and each time it reminds me that as a child, I felt the same way about my mum. And the thought of being caught made it nearly impossible for me to think of lying to her. Last night, I got an opportunity to explain ‘mums-secret-lie-detector’ to my adorable ones and I am hoping that it will bring an end to the occasional white lies. On the way to their basketball practice, we walked past a notice board and as I stopped to read what was on it, my daughter read the words out loud Words may lie but actions will always tell the truth and she asked me what it meant. I turned towards her and explained to her in a way she could understand and finished up by telling her thats why mum can tell when you lie. I explained to her brother too and now they both believe there is no point lying since their actions will tell the truth.
