However, in March 1939 Hitler annexed the rest of the Czech lands of Bohemia and Moravia, with Slovakia becoming a puppet state of Germany. Five months later in September 1939 Hitlers forces invaded Poland. (Would boko haram be satisfied with what has been ceded to it so far?). Chamberlain responded with a British declaration of war on Germany. In May 1940, after the disastrous Norwegian campaign, Chamberlain resigned and Winston Churchill became prime minister. -------------------------------- Compare this to what is happening here. Jonathans policy of appeasing boko haram is well known .... they are our siblings. Despite the fact that boko haram is occupying Nigerias territory Jonathan negotiated a ceasefire with them. In such negotiations there is always a give and take. What did he offer them? May be the whole of Bornu minus Maiduguri and half of Adamawa. Well it remains to be seen if boko haram will not be greedy and go for more territory just as Hitler did. The ground work for Jonathans resignation is being prepared funny enough by himself.
