Did Jesus give life to the dead and eyes to the blind? The complete name of Jesus mentioned in the Quran is Maseeh Eiisa bin Maryam.(Jesus the son of Mary) 3/45. The Jesus was the messenger of Allah 4/171. During His time He also addressed to the Bani Israeel 5/72 along with as أَنصَارُ Nisaara as his own associates of Jesus. 5/112. الْحَوَارِيُّونَ here means the dedicated personalities of the Jesus. These associates had declared themselves as أَنصَارُ اللَّهِ (Who helped the Jesus to implement the Divine rules in the society).3/52. Maseeh is not an Arabic name therefore we can not mention its Arabic root. Some people say that its origin/root is Ma, Sa ,Ha therefore Maseeh means who’s body was used to be massaged with oil. Every Nabi had the responsibility to convey/forward the same Divine message what He received from Allah to the people of that area but with out any addition or review.5/67 These are called the revealed values. In every era this Divine Rules remained the same for the human being which is called SHARIYYA.42/13. Every Nabi did his best to reform his society. The first, they had always faced were the orthodox/conventional ideas of each society which were not easy to eradicate from their mind and majority of those people were deeply sank in the mud of such ideas right from their forefathers undermining the society.. In such atmosphere there had been people who were totally in darkness as far as Eimaan is concerned to whom Quran has named as الْأَكْمَهَ /BLIND by birth and some were in half darkness and half in light To whom Quran counts asالْأَبْرَصَ neither Momin nor Kaafir. The Nabi used to enlighten the mind of these people to enable them distinguishing between the right and wrong/good and evil. Such people were counted as moving dead bodies. If we ponder into our own society we can also find such moving dead bodies sticking with the ideas of their forefathers because of the various Hadith Bokhari ,Tirmzi
