However, the case was something different when it came to Sajid Khan’s upcoming directorial venture, Humshakals , which stars Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Tamannah and Esha Gupta. For the huge star cast of Sajid’s comedy caper, it was more of bonding over food and having a gala feast on the sets, we hear. “A big gala feast for literally a week’s time happened on the sets of the film. It all started with Saif, who would get home cooked food which included of diet food like grilled chicken, vegetable and chicken salads, soups and many other healthy items. Saif made sure all his co-stars too followed the diet,” informs a source close to the team. But we wonder who cooked all the diet food for Saif and the star cast of the film. Was it his beloved wifey Kareena Kapoor? Well, we guess not. Remember how Kareena lost to Imran Khan while cooking when they were promoting Gori Tere Pyaar Mein? Anyway, after Saif, it was Riteish, who would get yummy home cooked food, which consisted of all the Maharashtrain delicacies like aamti, puran poli, Kolhapuri fish to shrikhand and that too in large portions for all his co-stars on the sets With the boys getting food from their house, why would the leading ladies shy away, right? We hear that Tamannah would get Sindhi food like the famous Sindhi kadhi and many more, while Esha was not far behind and got hardcore Punjabi food.
