Did You Know? What we Believe in our Hearts has the Ability to ether Draw us in, or Banish us from the very Life of God (Zoe) and the Experience of that Life!! See: (Eph 4: 17 - 18) [KJV] This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: I am Sure many will Agree with me that most People in the world today as well as a Large number of Believers in the Church, dont just have an Inaccurate Understanding of the Bible or Scripture, but have an Grossly Inaccurate view of the True Nature and Character of God! Over all the Years that I have been a Christian, and in Ministry it has been my Observation and Opinion that most of the Struggles that we as Believers face in life, (Emotionally, Physically, Relationally) have there Origin in the Inaccurate and sometimes Erroneous beliefs that we Hold to about; The true Nature and Character of God! But just as there is a Grossly Inaccurate concept and Belief in the Hearts of many Believers today about The true Nature and Character of God. There is also an Equally Destructive & Crippling view or Belief in the hearts of many Believers today about the true Value, Worth, Dignity & Identity, of Man. What Makes things Worse is that we must Understand that any System of Religion and Legalism, ultimately has no Value for People. Any system of Performance based Religion or Legalism by its very Nature destroys all Dignity and Worth. Thats why People who are Deeply involved in Religion, and Legalism invariably end up with Little or no Sense of Identity, Value, or Self-worth. If we as (Believers) Christians are not Taught and Instructed in a Proper Biblical sense of Identity and Self-worth that is Based upon the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will Seldom if ever be able to Experience God in an Intimate and Meaningful way! That Means that, if what we Believe a.) about the Bible, b.) about God, and c.) about Ourselves does not Agree with the Revelation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (The Good-news Message) of the New Testament. It will be very Difficult to Experience the Truth of Gods Word, Effectively working in and Through our lives on a Consistent basis!! Because Bible truth Works best from a Heart that is Established in Confidence before God! See: (I Jn 3: 18 - 24) [AMP] 18 Little children, let us not love [merely] in theory or in speech but in deed and in truth (in practice and in sincerity). 19 By this we shall come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we are of the Truth, and can reassure (quiet, conciliate, and pacify) our hearts in His presence, 20 Whenever our hearts in [tormenting] self-accusation make us feel guilty and condemn us... a. - (It is possible for our own Hearts to Torment and Condemn us in Self- accusation and Guilt, when God does not condemn and accuse us! ...[For we are in God’s hands.] For He is above and greater than our consciences (our hearts), and He knows (perceives and understands) everything [nothing is hidden from Him]. 21 And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God, 22 And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him. b. - (Therefore if we allow our conscience to condemn us and accuse us, we have no confidence or assurance before God, and can not RECEIVE anything from Him!)
