Did a American Zoetrope double feature... https://youtube/watch?v=g6aYLIn9zXs One From The Heart (Francis Ford Coppola, 1982) - Opinions on the film itself were lesser than the last time I saw it, years ago. I thought it was a good film, but right now Im thinking it is not. Its well acted, but the dialogue and plot is quite... ordinary. However, the cinematography by Vittorio Storaro is quite beautiful, and that is really what makes this film worth seeing. Also quite good is the Tom Waits + Crystal Gayle performance as the backing for nearly the entire film soundtrack. I believe that the look of the film influenced my past views on the film. https://youtube/watch?v=sU0oZsqeG_s Lost in Translation (Sofia Coppola, 2003) - Opinion on this one is the same here as before. This is an excellent film and I really have no complaints about it. Good chemistry between the two leads.
