Did one of my favorite things in the world today. Walked around in a foreign country with no agenda or time limit and only myself to make the decisions where/when to go. Even in Russia where hardly anyone speaks English and their alphabet looks like it has been scrambled, I managed to find my way around in a puzzle sort of way. Currently, I am in a bubble tea place that is playing the Bee Gees. Comforting. Ive realized some locals do not look favorably on Americans, but Ive had a few today who broke out in English and helped me or just spoke with me. Human nature kindness still rings true even if there is political unrest.
