Did this last Ramadan affect you? One brother mentioned how much he fell in love with fasting this Ramadan, more than past Ramadans. It hit him on Eid when he truly felt weird not being able to fast but not just from habit, from missing that connection with Allah. From not doing an ibadah that he fell in love with. He said once one truly loves the ibadah and doesnt do it just out of obligation it becomes something you dont desire but that you miss. He mentioned how easy it is to fast every day but he knows this is not allowed since the maximum is fasting every other day (Siyam ad-Dawud). With this he hopes that Allah rewards him for fasting every day, when he does and when he doesnt, as well as for following the Sunnah. What benefit did you get from this Ramadan that continued after?
