Did you have a good garden this year??? Every year is a bit different, due to weather conditions and the timing of what you plant. We missed out on our huge crops of potatoes and onions (need to amend the soil in the area we wish to grow them, on our garden "to do list") and the weather was not warm enough, I think, for beans. So the sustenance part of our garden was indeed elusive this year. Corn came on suddenly and then dried out. :( BUT, we had bumper crops of tomatoes (for us...tomatoes do not like wind and we are still working on that one) and blackberries! I have a counter full and a garden full of tomatoes...:) Eggplants did very well, too! Lots to do in the garden in the fall...till and seed our wildflower garden, tuck the roses and trees in for the winter and plan for winter gardening. This morning we decided to start some lettuce and get the amaryllis ready for the holidays...:)
