Did you know? Domestic cats are the single greatest threat to many endangered bird and rodent species, according to numerous wildlife studies. Domestic felines have caused 32 island species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians to become completely extinct. They are the single most numerous mammal predator in North America and they arent even native to this continent. Their density is far greater than that of the natural predators that were displaced by humans (bobcats, cougars, etc) and so their impact cannot simply be ignored via the assumption of equal displacement.
