FORMER CAREERS & EDUCATION From graduating high school through her 30s, Sheryll worked in a diverse variety of jobs and industries, including stints as secretary, office manager, typesetter, desktop publisher, printing company owner, assistant editor, communications specialist, public information officer, market research project specialist and research analyst. Sheryll is just a few credits shy of earning a bachelors degree in journalism (in 1989) with a minor in French (she speaks fluent French) from California State University Fullerton. Sheryll was a reporter and then city editor for CSUFs award-winning Daily Titan newspaper during the papers so-called golden years” of 1988-1989. She completed her college internship at Road & Track Specials magazine with legendary editor Ron Sessions. In 1991, she completed four advanced courses as part of UCLA’s Public Relations Designation Program. At Esperanza High School in Anaheim, Calif., where she graduated with honors, Sheryll was a newspaper editor and was awarded the 1981 journalism award.
