Did you know? Some of you will say isn’t Nurses Day supposed to be on the 12th of May (birthday of Florence Nightingale)? Yes, that’s the International Nurses Day. For Singapore, we have set it for 1st of August due to our own bit of history- we can trace the origin of nurses in Singapore all the way back to 1st of August 1985 when it was first started by the sisters of the French convent at the General Hospital at Sepoy Lines.
