Did you know? Wednesday, December 3, is International Day of People with Disabilities. In an effort to raise awareness about disabilities and accessibility, Lambton College’s Developmental Services Worker and Therapeutic Recreation programs have partnered with the City of Sarnias Accessibility Committee to host two special events for the public. Leading up the event, we will be highlighting inspiring individuals from our very own community. Celebrating Tiffany Magdic Tiffany is a second year Community Integration through Cooperative Education (CICE) student at Lambton College. This is a picture of Tiffany with her three medals from the 2014 Special Olympic Games in Vancouver. A determined competitor, Tiffany won a gold medal in 100 Meters, a silver medal in shotput and a bronze medal in 4 x 100 relay! What a successful young woman and an inspiration to our entire community.
